The Gillgrass Lab’s primary research focus is on immunology, humanized mice and infectious diseases. 

Current projects involve using humanized mouse models to investigate HIV, TB, HIV/TB co-infection and cancer. 

We aim to understand the disease pathogenesis and immune responses to develop therapeutics such as vaccines and immunotherapeutics to improve disease prognosis!
